Can I Be Saved And Not Go To Church?

Absolutely YES! You can be saved and not go to church.
You can be unsaved and go to church.
Church or the people that go to church can not save.

Jesus paid the price for all.
Every ones name is in the Lamb's book of life until they personally reject God's gift of salvation. It is more a rejection than an acceptance. But there comes a time when an individual runs out of time, then their name is blotted out of the book of life.

Revelation 3:5 (KJV)
5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

Salvation is free, no payment of any sort is needed for Jesus all ready paid the price.
All we need do is accept the free gift in our heart before we die. Believe salvation is free, accept the fact that God wants our love and devotion. No one deserves this gift so no one can brag about receiving it.

I took this right out of the bulletin and insist it is wrong! This makes sense at a certain spiritual level but most people take this at face value and it empowers old covenant Jewish law.

Looking at Hebrews chapter 10, Paul points out to the Jewish Christians, now that we are saved by grace and no longer live by the old covenant law we should not forsake coming together warning, urging, encouraging one another. About what?
About our new covenant law being to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul and mind and each other as yourself.
About keeping the new covenant and not returning to the old covenant law that would deny the work of the cross. Jesus shed His blood, paid in full the price to fulfil the Mosaic covenant with the Jewish people and include the rest of humanity ( Gentiles) into a new covenant with God.

Hebrews 10:25-27 (AMP)

25 Not forsaking or neglecting to assemble together [as believers], as is the habit of some people, but admonishing (warning, urging, and encouraging) one another, and all the more faithfully as you see the day approaching.
26 For if we go on deliberately and willingly sinning after once acquiring the knowledge of the Truth, there is no longer any sacrifice left to atone for [our] sins [no further offering to which to look forward].
27 [There is nothing left for us then] but a kind of awful and fearful prospect and expectation of divine judgment and the fury of burning wrath and indignation which will consume those who put themselves in opposition [to God].

Can't we see what Paul is saying? For if we go on deliberately and willingly SINNING, deliberately and willingly going back to the old testament law, ignoring the truth of grace, opposing God's plan, then there is nothing left but Divine judgement.

Christ Jesus is the only way, there is no second way, if we don't follow this way then were back to square one, death.
The Mosaic law being perfect and holy, gives proof that we are incapable of being right with God. Jesus, through his own sacrifice on the cross fulfilled the Mosaic covenant and made a new covenant with the Jews first, then the rest of the world (loving God, loving each other).

We need to STOP putting doubt in believers hearts by throwing old testament old covenant law at them, please stop doing this for then there will be nothing left but Divine judgement.
We must stop defying the work of the cross, find a better truthful loving way to bring people to church.
Then teach them to walk and live by the law, not in judgement, because it has lost its sting, but because it is right. This way the law no longer leads to death, but life, a righteous life through Jesus Christ.

I love my church, my church family and my pastor. I don't have to go to church, I get to go to church.

Anything but dependence on Christ within us, requires human effort or arming ourselves with the law.
Measuring salvation by the law is SIN, plain and clear, it goes against the redeeming work of the cross.
